Bonnie Hom, MPH

The Hydrocephalus Association is pleased to release the request for applications for the 2010 Mentored Young Investigators awards. The purpose of this award is to support young scientists and clinicians who are building careers in hydrocephalus research.

These awards are open to eligible organizations in North America which include public or private institutions such as universities, colleges, hospitals and laboratories, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Potential applicants must complete a letter of intent by April 30, 2010, that describes the nature of the proposed project and its relationship to hydrocephalus and identifies their mentor and institution.

The request for applications, the letter of intent form and other application materials are available at http://www.hydroassoc.org/research_advocacy/ha-research-grants/rfa-guidelines. Completed applications, including letters of recommendation and institutional commitment, must be submitted in a single PDF document by June 30, 2010. Applicants will receive instructions on uploading applications to the Hydrocephalus Association secure server in response to their letters of intent. Please contact me if you have any questions.
