Message from the CSNS Chairperson
The Council of State Neurosurgical Society (CSNS) continues
its implementation of its Strategic Planning Process with continued vigor and
success. We have concentrated in redefining our Mission and Vision, effected a
continual re-evaluation of our relationships with our parent bodies as an
educational resource and repository of socio-economic expertise. We continue to
hone our committee work into year round projects that are of high quality and
usefulness to our neurosurgical colleagues. Our Resident Socio-Economic Fellows
have become a vital source of new and active participants. We have started
working with our State Neurosurgical Societies to help their grass-roots
activity tied into an improved communicative pathway with the advent of State
Political Action Chairs- bridging the local organizations with the CSNS, NSPAC,
and the Washington Office.
