• Patient is leaving hospital today, having made a good recovery. Traveling by car to home of her sister who is a trained nurse and will remain there for some weeks. To return on Oct. 5th for x-ray treatment. Husband informed of future course of illness. Appetite good.

• Examination - Fundi: O.D. - No measurable elevation, some early secondary atrophy. O.S. - About ½ D elevation. Walks well and is bright and alert. Decompression full but soft. No evident right sided weakness.
